Something foul is afoot in Ancient Greece. Athens is bruised from a previous war with Crete. Worse still, King Minos annually demands fourteen Athenian youths to be fed to the Cretan Minotaur locked inside a maze. When his own beloved, Zosemine, is taken to be fed to the Minotaur, Theseus finds himself at the heart of a web of conflicting motives, with the sense that even those closest to him cannot be trusted.

Theseus must navigate the various plots, motives, and secrets through the labyrinth and see past the masks to slay the Minotaur.

Labyrinth Of Lies eBook Hannah Lokos

What a book of unexpected turns and layers upon layers of mysteries. Just when you think you could predict what's around the corner, you end up in a place where the author has you shocked.

Don't ignore this book just because it has the tale of the Greek Myth that we all know. The Greek Myth covers only the surface while Labyrinth of Lies goes much deeper than that and gives it a new twist, not only with characters we knew but new ones that we come to really love.

This world can expect great things from this young author. By honing her skill even more, she will become a master storyteller. I won't even be surprised if she rivals or surpasses J.K. Rowling in the future.

Only a few extremely minor issues (just to keep her head from inflating ;] haha)...some of the usage of the same metaphors, adjectives, and some phrases are used in my opinion more than it should've been. However, each of those metaphors, adjectives, phrases used were splendid. Also, the author used the change of scenery...device thing (the ~*~) more than I am used to or have seen. I understand why, but at times I feel like I was taken out of the story briefly. Like, "Oh, I'm reading a book? I thought I was Theseus!" But these two issues does not effect the rating over all since the story is very, very well written.

Definitely going to buy whatever Hannah Lokos writes next. Keep this author's name in mind dear whoever is reading this review. She is going to be huge.

This is a terrific read for pre-teen to adult readers. Labyrinth of Lies is a fast paced adventure that has a new twist on a classic Greek myth. This is a story of Greek mythology, conspiracy, friendship, courage, and romance. The characters will warm your heart and their story will keep you cheering them on! A wonderful and wholesome book that everyone will enjoy!
Miss Lokos offers readers a fresh new take on the timeless story of Theseus and the Minotaur. I was intrigued by the clever twists and didn't want to stop reading, so I didn't! Now to moderate while my children all clamor to read it at once...
A fun quick read with multiple twists and turns. Ms Lokos holds the readers attention from page one. A book you won't be able to put down.
Loved it. Great story. I couldn't put it down. This book has a lot of twists and turns that will keep you guessing until the end.
Full to the brim with characters that you can relate to and admire. It does not take long to get attached to them and hooked on the story! Although it gives a vividly accurate picture of the time period, this book also contains themes that are relevant, important, and realistic even today. The twists and turns in this book are astounding. Right when you think you've got the mysteries figured out, another revelation blows your mind only to be followed by another even deeper secret. I liked it from the beginning, but I enjoyed every page more and more. By the last page, I was thoroughly impressed with the depth and wit of the plot. I highly recommend Labyrinth of Lies and eagerly await Hannah's next book!
